With his genuine Swedish bloodlines and great results in breeding before he was exported, Chirlon has proved that after he is no longer competing, he is of great interest when he is returning to Sweden to breed. During two breeding seasons he has made 53 registered offspring, of which 5 at Grand Prix level.

Chirlon came second both in the riding test as well as the stallion test when he did his stallion test in 1993 with among others 9-10 in jumping and 9 for his trot. For the exterior he received 41 points with the remarks: masculine model, long, well-placed neck, well-placed abdomen, good legs, very good trot.

Chirlon was breeding in Sweden for two years before he was exported to the Netherlands in 1995. In total he has only covered 74 mares in Sweden with a gestation of 89 %. 53 of those are registered i Sweden. He has offspring that are competing Grand Prix in dressage, among others Brixthon (exported to England), Chirocco (exported to Finland) and Chiaretto (exported to England). Also to be mentioned is La Mer (exported to Denmark) who competes at Grand Prix level in jumping.

Chirlon himself has competed with great success in Grand Prix dressage in Europe. He is of genuine Swedish bloodlines, and the youngest breeding stallion by Ceylon. His older half-brother, the great improver of top horses, Master, is still breeding. Chirlon was educated from the beginning by Jan Brink, and was one of the most talented horses he has ever had, with a special talent for collection, e.g. piaff, passage and pirouettes. For the last couple of years Chirlon has had extremely good sperm quality.
