Hohenstaufen II has amazingly interesting bloodlines with Hohenstein as the father of among others the winners of the stallion tests His Highness and Hochadel, combined with thoroughbreed and Pik Bube.

Hohenstaufen II is a nobel, elegant, well-proportioned stallion with a beautiful head, well-shaped and well-placed neck, good hind quarter with a deep and well-proportioned long loin. Remarks for the gates: (10-8-9); the walk is rhythmical, active, relaxed, flexible and well-balanced. The trot is very rhythmical, very light, very well-balanced and adjustable. The canter is rhythmical, very light, very well-balanced and great self-carriage with good flexibility. Very attractive stallion with lightness and harmony.
Hohenstaufen II won both the championship for 3-year-olds in 2007 and for 4-year-olds in 2008. During 2009 Hohenstaufen II won the Scandinavian Open, was at the finals at the World Championship for young horses and won the “Champion of the Winners” during the Globen Horse Show. His father Hohenstein has more than 70 victories and placements up to and including Grand Prix dressage. The mother Langata's Dame is a state awarded mare who has done the "Stuten-prufung" with very good results. She is even the winner mare of Louis-Wiegels Show 2003. She is the mother of the approved stallion Hohenstaufen I, "prize awarded stallion"; who is both the European Champion and German Champion of YR dressage 2007 and the jumping mare Ramila, stutenprüfung 10 in jumping, who was exported to Canada. The grandmother on the mothers side, Pikdame, is the winner of the Bundeschampionat in 1990 and has approved stallion off-springs and competition horses up to Grand Prix level.
